Our Amazing Weekend

We had a very exciting weekend, and I can't wait to tell you all!

Some of our very good friends from Pennsylvania that we haven't seen in 3+ years came to visit us for the day on Saturday. We had such a fun time! They brought us pizza that was very yummy! It was huge like New York pizza! While we ate, we got to catch up. They have a new addition that we hadn't met yet: Abigail.

Me and my friend, Ruth
The boys: Josiah, Stephen and Johnny
Abigail!
After we ate, we tried to go to an incline up a mountain, but they were closed for maintenance. All in all, we had a really good time. It did go fast, though. We love you Uncle Regi, Aunt Mary, Timothy, Ruth, Josiah, Elisha, Enoch and Abigail!

On Sunday, my Dad got to go to our church in Slidell, LA. They video called him and let him talk about what has been going on. Then, they let him watch the message by Pastor Jeremy Watkins. We also went to church, but here in Pittsburgh.

After church, the kids swam in the pool and my Dad decided to go on the treadmill.  He walked a half a mile!

While the kids were in the pool, my Grandma and I decided to go out just to get out. We hopped on the shuttle and said, take us wherever you think we will have fun. He said he would take us to the Giant Eagle, which is a giant grocery store. Someone else got on with us and they wanted to go to the VA hospital. So, we dropped them off. Then, we picked someone else up off the side of the street. They wanted to go back to the hotel. So, we took them there. Then, we had to pick someone else up from the VA hospital. We then dropped them off at the hotel. Finally, after that, the shuttle driver dropped us off at the Giant Eagle. :) We walked around for about an hour having a good time. Then we called the shuttle again and he picked us up. :)

My Dad had a Drs. appointment today and had some of his medications lowered! Yay! His creatinine was 2.1, but they said that it should be fine. They also took the drain out of his stomach. The transplant coordinator set up a flight for my Dad and Grandma to fly home tomorrow! My mom will drive all of us kids back and will stop at a hotel halfway. I am so ready to be back home!
